The newly formed Civitan Club in Pell City raised $3,600 to purchase electronic doors at Williams Intermediate. The club wanted to thank all of the businesses and citizens who donated, especially one anonymous business donor who provided one-third of the cost of the automatic, power assist handicap-accessible doors. The club held raffles and other fundraisers to obtain a great deal of the money. The Pell City Civitan Club was chartered in May of last year and wanted to thank the Pell City Board of Education for allowing them to help put the project together
