Frozen Feet 5k and Fun Run Will Be Held December 19

The Frozen Feet 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run will be held on Saturday, December 19 at 8 a.m. The Pell City High School Winter Guard sponsors the event billed as the, “best Christmas themed 5K run around.”
The top three overall male and female finishers in the 5K races will receive an award along with the top three winners in each of the following categories: top three finishers ages 10-and-under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-and-up. Overall winners are not eligible for age group awards.
Race packets may be picked up at the Pell City Band Hall at the high school from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, December 18. You may also register for the race that evening.

Christmas music will be playing throughout the course and the overall male and female winners will bust through wrapping paper at the finish line. Participants will finish into a tunnel that will be decorated with Christmas lights and trees.
According to race officials, both the 5K and the one-mile course have been changed slightly and are faster than the previous year.
